One of our favourite hide-away lunch and after work/university drinks spots at the moment is the hip Imperial Lane (Access from Fort Lane or lower Queen St). The hot dogs are incredible. So are the cocktails, especially the Passion fruit Summer Mojito.
My favourite hot dog is the Polser, which I won't describe because that ruins the fun of the experience. But I will say they are made from gourmet ingredients with organic Neat Meat sausages.
The two pictured above are the Marrakesh (left) and Manhattan (right), equally as delicious as the Polser might I add. Pomegranate Ti in the background to keep us hydrated.
Open Monday to Friday 7.30am until late
Saturday and Sundays from 9am to 3pm
